Eating with the seasons - Jan 2018
I have just returned from working in Paris for 3 Weeks, Here I was helping a good friend open a new restaurant and wine bar Massale. It was a great challenge launching the place, from cooking to painting walls. It is now open and getting great reviews, a must if You Visit Paris.
I also managed a quick trip to Bordeaux to have Dinner at the Famous La Tupina Restaurant. Here they cook everything on a wood fire. France is a culinary delight and a must for any foodies.
January has some great seasonal offerings. Here are just a few of my Favourites:
-Yorkshire Rhubarb
-Blood Oranges
-Seville Oranges
-Bergamot
-Meyer Lemon-(newly discovered and a delight)
-Mussels
-Jerusalem Artichokes
-Roscoff Onions
I better stop, the list is getting longer and longer! For more seasonal delights check out Eattheseasons
Stay tuned, next Month I will add a Recipe section.
